Hurricane Dean Advisory

Due to the approaching hurricane the Cayman Islands Postal Service with be closing all post offices today Friday, 17 August 2007 at 3 p.m. and will remain closed until the all clear is given.

Therefore the public will have up until 3 p.m. today to clear their mail and parcels from post office boxes across the island. Creek, Watering Place, Spot Bay and Little Cayman Post Offices will maintain their normal Friday hours expect they will all close at 3 p.m.

After closing today Postal Service employees will begin removing mail and placing it in protective containers. This means that customers will not be able to collect their mail from their respective boxes after 3 p.m. today.
